Support and Communication

Communication is essential in the coaching process, despite using the best knowledge, science and experience to prescribe training, the coach is not the athlete. My role essentially revolves around listening to the athlete. Only the athlete knows how an exercise or workout feels, how tired they are at the end of a training block or if they have any slight niggles that may need addressing.

The key to this effective communication is availability of the coach by making themselves accessible throughout your training week…or…..Only with the coach making themselves available throughout your training week will make communication swift and effective

Without this open communication pathway, personalised training simply does not exist. Setting training programmes only to report back in 4-6 weeks’ time will not build an environment of support and trust.

Dependent on the coaching programme you undertake, you can expect the following

  • Bi-weekly training analysis

  • Online programming and feedback

  • Bi-weekly facetime calls
